Balfour
is 18km from Lumsden but if travelling from Invercargill the trip can
be shortened slightly by taking the St Patricks Road turn-off soon after
reaching the bottom of the Josephville Hill. This route is 87km. Carry
straight on towards Riversdale and the cemetery is quite visible, just
opposite another landmark, MacGregors Garage.
